UMW is sending me to PARIS :O
Found out today at the department meeting that I won the Chauncey Scholarship to study painting for a semester at Parsons New School in Paris! I’m going to spend the summer there.

I go on tumblr and see pictures the most amazing, creative, and funny halloween costumes I have ever seen in my life.
Then I open up facebook and see pictures of girls wearing “costumes” consisting of short dresses and fishnet stockings, and I can’t even tell what they are supposed to be.
Me: Man, Lapras is so cool, I wish it was my favorite pokemon.
Friend: ...then why don't you make it your favorite?
Me: Psh, you can't just ~*change*~ your favorite pokemon. It doesn't work that way.
Friend: I don't see why not.
